As a fitness & nutrition coach, I will help you navigate the confusing world of health & fitness. My goal is NOT to help you lose 20 lbs in a week or 50 lbs in a month or to reach your goal weight only to gain all the weight back. My goal is to help you develop lifestyle habits that you can use to not only reach a healthy weight but to also keep the weight off. My goal is to help you develop a healthy relationship with food and exercise so that it enhances your life, not so it consumes your life.
I want to help people feel good about working out & eating healthy food so that they can live a life where they thrive. Working out and eating healthy provides much more than physical benefits (although that is a great perk!). It can help you live your life to the fullest and enjoy every moment even more. It can help you run around with your kids, help you get off daily medication, and most importantly, it can help improve your overall mental health.
My approach to health & fitness is simple. I believe that moderation is the key to making lifelong changes. I believe that diets and an all or nothing mentality will set you up for failure and that in order to make this a lifestyle, you have to enjoy the changes you’re making. I don’t promote restrictive diets and I believe that every food group serves a purpose, even “junk food” such as cake and cookies. My end goal for every client is to give you the tools to live a healthy lifestyle by empowering you to make good choices on your own. As the saying goes, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” In the same way, I aim to teach my clients the skills to live a healthy lifestyle without the need of a coach for the rest of their life.
