Who doesn’t love peanut butter?? I know this is one of my weaknesses (after chocolate) and I was ecstatic to hear that PEScience was coming out with a new flavor, peanut butter cookie. I immediately ordered 2 tubs because I knew they would be delicious. I was a little reluctant to try a peanut butter smoothie since I love my chocolate ones so much but I decided to give it a try and knew I could always add cacao powder later if I didn’t like it as a smoothie.
I was pleasantly surprised to realize that I might like this version more than my chocolate smoothie! Ok… I might be getting ahead of myself but it was definitely a nice change from the usual and if you like peanut butter, you’ll enjoy this smoothie. I promise it is much more flavorful then the picture looks. I hope you enjoy! 🙂
2 frozen bananas (cut up into slices before freezing for easier blending)
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 scoop (32 g) PEScience Peanut Butter Cookie Protein Powder
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
Mix all ingredients in a high-powered blender and enjoy!
Tips & Tricks:
-I add additional almond milk if my blender is having trouble blending.
-If you want a thicker smoothie, use less almond milk; however, I recommend having a high-powered blender as it can be difficult to blend in a normal one.
