I figured it was about time to post a waffle recipe since the name of my blog includes waffles, so here’s one you will love. I like to start the morning out with a high protein breakfast that keeps me full throughout the morning and also satisfies my sweet tooth. If I’m not having a protein smoothie, this recipe is next on my list. These waffles are high in protein but also tasty and delicious. You can customize the recipe by using different types of flour, different flavors of protein powder and switching up the toppings. I hope you enjoy!
Ingredients:
1/4 cup oat flour
31 g PEScience Snickerdoodle
1 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
20 Lily’s chocolate chips
Water
Topping:
2 tbsp powdered peanut butter
Directions:
Heat waffle iron. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl, then add eggs, chocolate chips and enough water to get a pour-able consistency. Pour batter into waffle iron and wait for the waffle to cook. While waiting for the waffle to cook, mix the powdered peanut butter with 2 tbsp water to top the waffle.

Tips & Tricks:
Instead of adding the chocolate chips into the batter, I add them in after I’ve poured the batter into the waffle iron. This way I can distribute them more evenly and make sure I get chocolate in every bite!
Love PES! What’s your IG?
