Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

TGIT! Today, I’m going to share with you one of my new favorite smoothie recipes as of yesterday! Haha.  This recipe is pretty similar to my last protein smoothie recipe except it swaps out the cacao powder for pumpkin puree.  This smoothie doesn’t look very pumpkin-y but I promise it’s tasty and will remind you of fall.  Just make sure to use pure pumpkin puree and not pumpkin pie filling or you might have a less than delicious result. 😉  Enjoy!

Ingredients:
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 1/2 scoops protein powder (I’ve been using Vanilla PEScience lately)
1/4 cup pumpkin puree
1/2 tbsp pumpkin pie seasoning
2 frozen bananas, cut up in slices before freezing

Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!

Tips & Tricks:
If you don’t have pumpkin pie spice, you can use a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger and cloves.
